My son's 10th birthday party was yesterday and to be honest I'm actually shocked how well it went. I had hired a video game truck to come to the house, basically a mobile video arcade. But it had one giant screen at one end of the truck which was a 9 foot screen, so when the kids played a four player game the screen was spilt into four but each section was still plenty big. There were about 12 kids in the truck all seated comfortably on various bean bags and video game chairs, and they rotated for their turns. The truck was air conditioned with colored lights and a little bit of fog from a fog machine. The over-all atmosphere was really cool. The kids had an absolute blast, they were all content, happy and comfortable and best of all not running around in my house. The guy running the party was very good with the kids and I think he did a great job. Cost wise it was the same as a party any where else, chuck-e-cheese or karate class, or any other place you can do a birthday party. My son is already planning his party to be the same thing for next year!

Hey, that's cool! I've never heard of that before, but I'm sure the word will spread among the kids soon! Will check it out.

Yeah I'm sure it will be talked about with the kids. Funny thing is that man who ran the event said one of the kids at the party asked him if he could go home with him, presumably to live forever in the video game truck! :) lol it was probably my son.

Forget the kids- what about MY birthday? I'm eyeing up the Quiz option.

True, why don't we (aka adults) get really cool birthday parties? I count myself lucky if I get a mummbled "happy birthday mom" from the kids on my birthday.

That is really cool!!! Do you think it would have been good for kids younger than 10? My son will be 7 in October.

I think it would be fine for that age, he can customize it according to the kids ages. He has games that will appeal to younger kids and older kids because he asked me the age range of the kids attending the party. We had from 5 year olds to 12 year olds in there. So it held the little kids attention just as well as the older kids.
